Slot Wars: Duck Hunters Happy Hour VS Duck Hunters 2
One brings the barbecue. The other brings an armed duck uprising. Only one leaves with the Slot Wars trophy.

NoLimit City has somehow turned duck hunting into a recurring family dispute.
Duck Hunters Happy Hour moves the chaos into the backyard, surrounding the reels with grills, drinks, lawn chairs and characters who look like they have already ignored several noise complaints. Duck Hunters 2 heads back into the woods, except the ducks have apparently decided they are done being scenery and would now like to return fire.
Mechanically, the two games are close relatives. Both use Scatter Pays, both rely heavily on position multipliers, and both pile xWays effects, cascades and bonus modifiers onto an already volatile setup.
The difference is in what each game does with that framework, and this Slot Wars showdown is about to put that to the test.
Round 1: Winning Potential and RTP
Happy Hour opens with a 33,333x maximum win and a top RTP of 96.07%.
Its biggest wins depend heavily on the multiplier grid. Whenever winning symbols disappear, the cleared positions gain multipliers. If those same squares are hit again later in the spin sequence, the multiplier values rise further.
That becomes especially dangerous when Bombs and xWays symbols start interfering with the grid, because both can alter several positions at once and create much stronger follow-up combinations.
Duck Hunters 2 gives away seven hundredths on RTP, sitting at 96%, but pushes the maximum payout higher to 40,000x the bet.
Its multiplier system is also more aggressive on paper. Cleared positions begin at 2x, then double again whenever winning symbols are removed from those same spaces. A single square can eventually climb as high as 16,384x.
Random multipliers can also appear across the reels before the main spin develops, meaning some positions may already carry useful values before the first winning cluster lands.
So this round splits cleanly. Happy Hour wins RTP. Duck Hunters 2 wins the max-win battle.

Round 2: Bonus Features
This is where Happy Hour puts almost everything on the table at once.
Its xWays symbols transform into paying symbols while increasing the multiplier beneath their position. Infectious xWays take that idea further by spreading the revealed symbol to matching symbols elsewhere on the reels.
If several xWays symbols appear together, they can synchronize into the same symbol, which can produce a much larger Scatter win than their original positions suggested.
Then there are the Bombs. Bombs remove nearby symbols, double multipliers underneath the affected positions and reveal a fresh random symbol afterwards. That replacement can sometimes be another Bomb, allowing explosions to continue across the grid.
Happy Hour also offers 3 main Free Spins modes.
Duck Hunt Spins preserve position multipliers and add one random upgrade. Hawk Eye Spins arrive with two upgrades, while Big Game Spins activate all three.
The enhancer menu goes even further.Day 8 Spins start every position at 8x. Day 64 Spins begin with every position at 64x. Happy Hour Spins start all positions at 8x while filling the two middle reels with Bombs on the opening drop. That is a serious feature package.
Duck Hunters 2 uses many of the same ingredients, but ties them more closely to its multiplier grid.
Its cleared positions keep doubling when reused, xWays symbols help increase the value of specific spaces, and the bonus rounds are built around preserving or exploiting those boosted squares rather than simply introducing another isolated modifier.
That makes the second game feel slightly more coherent mechanically.
Happy Hour has the broader feature menu. Duck Hunters 2 makes stronger use of the features it carries. By a narrow margin, Duck Hunters 2 takes this round.
Round 3: Visuals and Audio
Duck Hunters Happy Hour has the more immediately ridiculous setting.
The woods are replaced by a backyard full of barbecues, bottles, coolers, cocktails and deeply questionable decision-making. The ducks are still around, but the whole setup feels less like a hunting trip and more like a neighbourhood party that has gone badly off course.
NoLimit City's exaggerated cartoon style suits the setting well. Characters are loud, expressions are ridiculous, and Bomb explosions fit naturally into a world where nobody appears particularly concerned about basic safety. The soundtrack follows the same idea, leaning into a rowdy backyard-party atmosphere rather than trying to make the game feel serious.
Duck Hunters 2 goes the opposite way.
The forest returns, but the tone becomes more hostile. The ducks fight back, the scenery feels more combative, and the bonus sequences turn the old hunter-versus-bird joke into something closer to open warfare.
That change gives the sequel a stronger visual identity within the series.Happy Hour is funnier as a standalone idea. Duck Hunters 2 feels like the bigger escalation. The audio also has more bite in the sequel, especially once the larger features start triggering and the woodland setting turns increasingly chaotic.
On theme, there is almost nothing between them. However, on visuals and sound together, Duck Hunters 2 gets the slight edge.
And The Winner Is…
Happy Hour makes this a much closer fight than the final result suggests. Its 96.07% RTP is better, the Bomb mechanic is excellent, and the sheer number of enhancers gives players more ways to jump directly into extreme multiplier setups.
The backyard setting also deserves credit. It could easily have felt like a lazy reskin, but the barbecue, drinks and party atmosphere give the game enough personality to stand apart from the forest-based entries.
Duck Hunters 2 wins because it takes the core system further.
The 40,000x maximum win is higher, individual positions can reach 16,384x multipliers, and the sequel makes the multiplier grid feel central to almost every important mechanic. It also wins the visual battle by turning the usual hunting setup on its head.
Happy Hour gives the hunters another drink. Duck Hunters 2 gives the ducks a gun, and that proves slightly harder to beat.
