Three colored chips feed three pots above the reels, and each color alters the respin feature in a different way. Blue adds position multipliers that can climb as high as 100x, red introduces an expanding respin area, and green increases the starting number of respins from three to four.

During the feature, diamond money symbols and colored chips can stick in place, with every new landing resetting the available respins. Filling all 15 positions awards the 10,000x Grand Jackpot, so while Eternal Diamonds looks like the quieter Pragmatic release this week, there is considerably more happening than its old-school diamond theme initially suggests.

Great Game Serengeti

After stalking around the mountains in the Great Game Rockies, Hacksaw Gaming's hunter has apparently booked a flight to Africa. Great Game Serengeti keeps the series' shooting-gallery DNA on a compact 5x3 grid with nine paylines, a 96.29% RTP and a relatively restrained 5,000x max win.

The returning Hunting Season mechanic puts targets above the reels and fires a sequence of shots across them, transforming hit animal symbols into prizes according to their value. New to Serengeti is Stampede Reveal, which can guarantee Hunting Season while clearing lower-paying symbols before the action begins.

Three Bonus symbols trigger Khaki Quest, while four unlock the stronger Roaring Reign and its Lion Bar progression. Five open Zebrawl, where Hunting Season is guaranteed on every free spin, making it the version where Hacksaw removes most of the waiting and simply lets the mechanic loose.

Great Game Serengeti is unlikely to win this week's arms race on raw potential, especially when a 40,000x NoLimit title is sitting further down the list. What it does offer is a more approachable middle ground, with medium volatility and a feature set that looks busy without becoming a flowchart.

Every cleared position receives a 2x multiplier, and winning on the same spot again doubles it, allowing individual cells to climb as high as 16,384x. xWays symbols expand regular symbols and boost multipliers, Infectious xWays can spread the effect across matching symbols, while Bombs clear parts of the grid and leave stronger multiplier positions behind.

Three Bonus symbols trigger 7 Duck Hunt Spins, four award 8 Hawk Eye Spins, and five unlock 10 Big Game Spins, with the stronger versions adding more upgrades. Position multipliers remain active throughout the feature, so a strong board can keep building rather than resetting between spins.

NoLimit has also squeezed in dedicated xWays Juicer and Bomb Juicer modes, alongside several booster options for players who want to start with stronger multipliers already active. Duck Hunters 2 takes it, and this one is not particularly close. Lucky Drums 88 looks polished, Cursed King has an excellent sticky-Wild concept and Great Game Serengeti may be the easiest of the bunch to digest, but NoLimit City has simply brought more new machinery to the table.

The clever part is that all of that machinery points back to the same central idea. Every collapse can strengthen individual positions, Bombs and xWays can accelerate them, and the free-spin rounds preserve the board long enough for those multipliers to become genuinely ridiculous. Add the 40,000x ceiling, escalating bonus tiers and a sequel that meaningfully expands on the original rather than just repainting it, and Duck Hunters 2 is the first game we'd open from the September 7–13 lineup.

There is a clear split in this week’s releases between familiar formulas and games trying to push them a little further. Lucky Drums 88 and Eternal Diamonds stay close to proven Pragmatic Play territory, while Cursed King gets more mileage out of a simple sticky Multiplier Wild idea than its relatively clean setup suggests.

The heavier stuff comes later in the week, with Great Game Serengeti expanding Hacksaw’s hunting series and Duck Hunters 2 throwing practically every NoLimit City trick onto the same grid. If the second week of September has a theme, it is escalation: more persistent multipliers, more layered bonuses, and several sequels or familiar concepts being pushed noticeably harder than before.
